Monument Mountain Boys Earn Draw Against Pope Francis

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Eddie Boyko and Erving Henderson each scored a goal for the Monument Mountain boys soccer team in a 2-2 tie against Pope Francis on Wednesday.
 
After a scoreless first half, the visiting Cardinals scored first. Boyko then scored with an assist from David Flynn to tie it, and Henderson scored unassisted to give the Spartans the lead.
 
Luke Arienti made five saves in the Monument Mountain goal.
 
The Spartans (3-3-3) go to Ludlow on Saturday.
