Henderson Leads Spartans Past Mount Everett

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Erving Henderson scored two goals and assisted on one more Saturday as the Monument Mountain boys soccer team defeated Mount Everett, 4-0.
 
The Spartans scored all their goals in the first half, including the eventual game-winner by Henderson with an assist from Griffen McElroy in the third minute.
 
Sean Scarbro had a goal and an assist. Sam Yeung scored a goal, and Adam Lrhazi notched an assist.
 
Luke Arienti earned the shutout in goal with three saves.
 
Michael Devoti stopped eight shots for Mount Everett (0-3), which goes to Easthampton on Thursday.
 
The Spartans (1-1) host Pittsfield on Monday.
