PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Joe Cardaropoli had a hat trick to lead the Longmeadow boys soccer team to a 7-1 win over Pittsfield on Monday.
 
The Lancers scored five unanswered after Luke Peplowski converted a penalty kick for the Generals in the 28th minute to make it a 2-1 game at Kirvin Park.
 
Avi Snowise made seven saves for Pittsfield (2-2), which hosts Shepherd Hill on Wednesday.
