Wildcats Roll over Gateway

HUNTINGTON, Mass. – Giana Carlino scored a pair of goals Thursday to lead the Lee girls soccer team to a 6-1 win over Gateway Regional.

 

Carlino scored the game’s first goal with an assist from Maddie Burd in the fourth minute of play.

 

And the Wildcats went on to a 3-0 half-time lead with goals from Ava Lucy (goal, assist) and Veronica Osak.

 

After the Gators got a goal to open the second, Cara Korte, Carlino and Izzy Lawton found the back of the net for Lee to put the game away.

 

Arianna Noyes made nine saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Lee (5-0-1) hosts Hampden Charter on Monday.
