PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Madeline Graziano had a goal and an assist to lead the Lee girls soccer team to a 4-1 win over Taconic on Wednesday.

Graziano opened the scoring 23 minutes in with a corner kick that hooked into the goal and under the hands of Taconic keeper Brooke Mangiardi.

Five minutes later, Graziano sent a cross to Karli Retzel on the weak side, and Retzel converted to make it 2-0. More nifty passing set up a third Lee goal late in the half. Nikki Laudon fed to Shannon Finnegan, and she split two defenders to make it 3-0.

The teams traded goals in the second half, and Brianna Hawley came up strong in Lee's net to preserve the win.

"Our offense continued to work well together, creating opportunities for shots on goal throughout the entire game," Lee coach Lauren Finnegan said.
