Schilling, Brown Lead Lenox Girls at Lee

LEE, Mass. -- Abigail Schilling and Tova Brown each scored on Thursday to lead the Lenox girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over Lee.
 
Schilling gave the Millionaires a 1-0 lead at half-time after she used an assist from Julie Pehlert. Brown added an unassisted goal in the fourth minute of the second half.
 
Mikayla DiSantis scored for Lee, which got 12 saves from Brianna Hawley.
 
“Overall it was a great game played by both teams,” Lee coach Lauren Finnegan said. :I was very proud of our defense and Hawley, who played beautifully together with the defense really pressuring shots and allowing Hawley to be position to save them.”
 
Taylor Knight made four saves for Lenox (8-2-1), which hosts Southwick on Saturday evening.
 
Lee (4-7) goes to Berlin, N.Y., on Friday.
