The Lenox girls soccer team grabbed the top seed among all Berkshire County soccer teams in the upcoming state tournaments.

The Millionaires are seeded sixth in a 46-team Division 5 bracket and await the winner of a play-in game between No. 38 Matignon and No. 27 Hopkins Academy.

The D5 bracket includes five Berkshire County squads, and four of them will get to start the post-season at home.

The exception is No. 17 Drury, which avoids the play-in round but has to go to No. 16 Hull High in the round of 32.

McCann Tech is in the play-in but, as the No. 26 seed, gets to host Thursday's match against No. 39 Innovation Academy for the right to go play No. 7 Tahonto Regional in the round of 32.

The winner of that first round game could play either No. 10 Mount Greylock in the Sweet 16. The Mounties will start at home in the round of 32 against either No. 23 Gardner or No. 42 Madison Park, who play in a play-in on Thursday.

Rounding out the county contingent in D5 is No. 22 Mount Everettt, which is home for a play-in game on Thursday against No. 43 Minuteman Regional.

Berkshire County put two teams in the Division 4 bracket, where No. 13 Wahconah will be home in the first round against No. 20 Easthampton and No. 16 Monument Mountain is home against No. 17 Arlington Catholic.

All MIAA playoff brackets are subject to change during a 24-hour period after release to allow for appeals based on teams' records.
