McCann Tech Girls Earn Tie at Smith Voc

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Jordyn Lloyd scored a pair of goals Friday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team in a 2-2 tie against Smith Vocational.

 

Shaylee Lawson and Faith Brazeau each set up one of Lloyd’s goals as the Hornets finished the second week of the season undefeated.

 

“Our seniors are playing excellent soccer right now,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “Our defense sets the tone, which opens opportunities for our offense. Shaylee and Jordyn remain unstoppable. So long as we maintain our intensity, we pose a tough challenge to any team.”

 

Natalie Tatro stopped 14 shots in the Hornets’ goal.

 

McCann Tech (2-0-2) hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
