Lloyd's Hat Trick Sends Hornets to Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jordyn Lloyd recorded a hat trick Thursday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to a 4-1 win over Springfield International Charter School.

 

Ryleigh Rathbun scored the other goal and picked up an assist. Shaylee Lawson set up two goals, and Zoey Kratz had an assist.

 

Natalie Tatro stopped seven shots to earn the win in goal as the Hornets remained undefeated this fall.

 

“We played consistently and cohesively in all aspects of the game,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “Jordyn was a force with three goals, and our defense kept a tough Springfield squad at bay with stellar play. We’re ready for our next contest under the lights Monday - at home against Smith Voc.”

 

McCann Tech improved to 6-0-3 with Thursday’s win.
