Easthampton Girls Top McCann Tech

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – The third-seeded Easthampton girls soccer team Wednesday defeated McCann Tech, 5-0, in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.

 

Bella Lefevre stopped 14 shots in goal for the Hornets.

 

“We played hard against a talented and very physical Easthampton squad,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “We’re quite proud of our girls who never gave up against a talented No. 3 seed.”

 

McCann Tech (6-4-5) will get a game in the tournament’s consolation round before heading to the Division 5 State Tournament next week.
