Pioneer Valley Girls Down McCann Tech

NORTHFIELD, Mass. – The Pioneer Valley girls soccer team Saturday earned a 4-0 win over McCann Tech.

“We are a young squad, having graduated a large senior class,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “While these consecutive defeats are tough to swallow, the effort and fight are completely there. These players are giving everything they have and you can't teach the kind of heart they show up with every game.”

Bella Lefevre stopped 18 shots for the Hornets in the loss.

McCann Tech (1-6-2) goes to Smith Vocational on Tuesday.
