Mount Everett Blanks Westfield Tech

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Josie Waiveris converted the rebound of her own penalty kick Tuesday to give the Mount Everett girls soccer team a 1-0 win over Westfield Tech.

 

“Today the whole team played much tighter and was able to use our last game to build on what worked for us and make adjustments to address what didn’t work,” Mount Everett coach Robert Giumarro said.

 

Kamari Pridgen earned the clean sheet in the Eagles’ goal.

 

Mount Everett (1-1) is home on Friday against Lee.
