Team Effort Lifts Eagles at Renaissance

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Ainsley Krans scored a pair of goals off free kicks Tuesday to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 4-1 win over Renaissance School.
 
Hannah Heaton and Josie Waiferis each scored a goal in the second half to help the Eagles pull away.
 
“This was a total team victory, and everyone played a role to secure the win,” Mount Everett coach Robert Giumarro said.
 
The Eagles (4-8-1) are 3-2 in their last five games heading into Thursday’s regular season finale against Taconic, Mount Everett’s Senior Day.
