Stevens Leads Mount Everett Girls in Opening Day Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Jadah Stevens Thursday scored five goals to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 7-2 win over Putnam Vocational.

 

Violet Charter scored the other two goals and assisted on one of Stevens’ strikes. Tessa DiGiovanni also had an assist.

 

Amelia Manoli earned the win in goal, stopping 10 shots.

 

Mount Everett (1-0) is at Smith Academy on Saturday.
