CHICOPEE, Mass. -- Maura Robitaille and Madeline VonRuden each scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 4-0 win over Hampden Charter on Monday.

Robitaille opened the scoring with an unassisted goal 30 minutes into the game.

"After a slow start, the team picked it up and started playing their game of soccer -- making passes using the entire field on offense, and organizing well on defense," Mount Everett coach Jess Murtagh said.

Hannah Steurernagele and Sarah Beckwith scored the Eagles' other goals, and Madison Ullrich stopped eight shots in earning the shutout.

Mount Everett (10-3) hosts Lenox on Tuesday.
