NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Gwen Carpenter scored a pair of goals on Thursday to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Drury.

Madison Ullrich made four saves to earn the shutout win for the Eagles (11-1).

Drury’s Alli Brassard stopped three shots.

“Both teams played well, considering the weather conditions,” Drury coach Maryjane Rumbolt said. “We kept pressure on Carpenter to prevent her from controlling the game.”

Drury (2-12-1) hosts Mount Greylock on Saturday afternoon.
