SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Five different players scored a goal for the Mount Everett girls soccer team Monday in a 5-0 win over Hampden Charter.

Allison Steuernagle and Julianna Valentini each had a goal and an assist as the Eagles leveled their record at 2-2.

May Liebenow, Maggy Sarnacki and Ella Gennari each scored a goal, and Emma Goewey made one save to earn the shutout in goal.

“The girls did a good job of possessing and finding teammates in good spots,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “We were able to plug some girls into some new positions today which was good to gain experience. We still are having some injuries which hopefully we can get figured out soon as the season continues to progress.”

Mount Everett hosts Gateway Regional on Friday.
