WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Tanley Drake scored a pair of goals, and the Mount Greylock girls soccer team scored six times in the second half to earn a 6-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.

Five different Mounties found their way into the scorebook.

Nora Lopez scored the eventual game-winner in the 44th minute.

“Even though we controlled play in the first half, a stingy Hoosac defense kept us off the scoreboard for 40 minutes,” Mount Greylock coach Tom Ostheimer said. “We made a few adjustments during halftime and our offense then proceeded to explode for four goals in the first 13 minutes of the second half. We played with urgency and a faster pace with good quick combination passing that finally created some gaps in the Hoosac defense.”

Lopez, Lucy McWeeny and Lily McDermott each finished with a goal and an assist.

Mai O’Connor and Olivia Eakin split time in Mount Greylock’s goal, combining for two saves.

The Mounties (6-0) go to Springfield Central on Thursday.

Hoosac Valley (0-7-1) goes to Drury on Thursday.
