Mount Greylock Girls Post 11th Shutout with Win over Lenox

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Bella Galvez and Mai O’Connor anchored the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to its 11th shutout of the season, a 2-0 win over Lenox on Friday.
 
O’Connor stopped four shots to earn a clean sheet in goal.
 
The game-winner came midway through the first half, when Lucy Igoe scored with an assist from Molly Sullivan.
 
Midway through the second half, Sullivan set up Jane Skavlem for an insurance goal.
 
Mount Greylock finishes the regular season 13-0-3. Lenox ends up 6-7-2.
 
The seedings for next week’s Western Massachusetts tournament are due on Monday.
