Mount Greylock Shuts Out Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Nora Lopez had a hat trick and assisted on a goal Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Lopez scored the game-winner, unassisted, the first half.

 

Arianna Henderson converted a Rowan Apotsos assist to double the Mounties’ margin and give the visitors a 2-0 half-time lead.

 

Lopez and Tanley Drake split the scoring in the second half. Lopez scored twice off Drake assists. Drake scored with an assist from Lopez.

 

Mount Greylock (4-0) hosts Pittsfield on Tuesday.

 

Monument Mountain (2-3) goes to Drury on Tuesday.
