Mount Greylock Blanks Monument Mountain

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Arianna Henderson and Tanley Drake each scored a pair of goals Friday as the Mount Greylock girls soccer team beat Monument Mountain, 4-0.

 

Adele Low and GG Nicastro each had an assist, and Addie Cooper kept a clean sheet with seven saves.

 

“We came out quickly again and were efficient with our chances in the first half,” Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said. “It was great to get back to shut-out soccer. Rowan Apotsos, Maddie Powell, and Addie Cooper led the way to earn us our sixth shutout in 10 games.”

 

Annalise Hocker stopped 10 shots for Monument Mountain.

 

The Spartans (3-6) go to Taconic on Saturday.

 

Mount Greylock (9-0-1) is at Pittsfield on Monday at Kirvin Park.
