Mount Greylock Trounces Greenfield in Tournament
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Ninth-grader Ruby Morin had a hat trick Wednesday as the Mount Greylock girls soccer team beat Greenfield, 9-0, in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.
Addie Cooper and Noemi Evans split time in goal to earn the shutout for the top-seeded Mounties (12-2-1).
Mount Greylock moves on to host either No. 5 Drury or No. 4 Smith Vocational in the regional semi-finals. The Blue Devils and Vikings play on Thursday afternoon.
