Spartans Earn Shutout at Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Lucille Dohoney scored twice, and the Monument Mountain girls soccer team Saturday took a five-goal first-half lead en route to a 6-0 win over Taconic.
 
Mercedes Raifstanger and Mallory Lucey each had a goal and an assist, and Gabriella Lopez and Scarlett Ivas scored a goal apiece.
 
Juniper Raczkowski set up two goals in the win.
 
Ynes Bourdon made three stops to earn the shutout in goal.
 
Nahla Phillips made 18 saves for the Taconic.
 
The Thunder (2-6-1) goes to Gateway on Monday.
 
Monument Mountain (4-7) hosts Drury on Monday.
