GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Sadie Raifstanger scored a pair of goals Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over Drury.

Raifstanger opened the scoring with an assist from Violet Camarra midway through the first half.

But the Blue Devils responded with a goal from Ella Bond just before half-time. Remee Stred set up Bond for the equalizer.

In the 50th minute, Addie Aloisi set up Raifstanger for the game-winner.

“Sadie was a threat throughout the match, feeding off of excellent midfield play from Mallory Lucey, Sophia Castro and Violet Camarra and striker Lucy Dohoney,” Monument Mountain coach Sean Flynn said.

"We played very well in stretches with quality build up play at times. Drury put us under significant pressure late in the first half and in the middle of the second half as well. I was very proud of how our girls responded to close out the game. "

Anneliese Hocker stopped eight shots to earn the win in the Spartans’ goal.

Addisyn Shepard stopped 10 shots for Drury (2-2), which hosts Wahconah on Tuesday.

Monument Mountain (2-1) is at Pittsfield on Tuesday.
