Drury Downs Pittsfield on Senior Day

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Drury senior Hailey Kingsley scored her team’s second goal on Senior Day in a 2-1 win over Pittsfield.

 

Kingsley fired a shot from the left wing into the upper 90 to clinch the Blue Devils’ victory in a hard-fought match.

 

“It was a  good game on both sides,” Drury coach Sy Uqdah said. “It was tough going to get a score. Their keeper was excellent, making lots of saves. We finally got a goal in the second half by Madison Saunders who worked hard to get the ball and take it down for a goal.”

 

Madison Stetz scored for PIttsfield.

 

Senior Brooke Bishop earned the win in goal for Drury.

 

The Blue Devils (4-7-1) go to Mount Everett on Monday.

 

Pittsfield (0-13) hosts Wahconah at BCC on Monday night.
