Pittsfield Girls Blank Lenox

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Madi Pope scored a goal and set up three more Monday to lead the Pittsfield girls soccer team to a 4-0 win over Lenox.

 

Bre’Jai Ellerbee scored twice, and Kara Wong found the back of the net in the win.

 

“Madi Pope was outstanding today,” Pittsfield coach Molly West said. “She distributed the ball perfectly and played the defensive side of the game with aggressiveness. She and Abby Wong are really clicking in the center midfield and playing off each other nicely.”

 

Harolyn Castillo made three saves to earn the shutout win in goal.

 

Pittsfield (5-2-2) goes to Wahconah on Thursday.

 

Lenox (3-6-1) hosts Holyoke on Tuesday.
