Lenox Girls Tie Holyoke

LENOX, Mass. – Lauren Bridges scored twice and assisted on a third goal Tuesday as the Lenox girls soccer team earned a 5-5 tie against Holyoke.

 

Cate Welch, Claire Welch and Jane Elliot had the other three goals; Elliot also assisted on a pair of goals.

 

“Defensively we struggled early in the second half particularly, but Audie [Tresp] has really impressed us stepping into goal for her first two games and making some amazing saves,” Lenox coach William Welch said. “Great to see Claire score her first career goal and a strong performance from Lauren tonight.”

 

Tresp finished with eight saves.

 

Lenox (3-6-2) is at Drury on Thursday.
