Lee Takes Five-Set Win from Pioneer Valley Christian

LEE, Mass. – Hannah Achurra had a double-double on Wednesday to lead the Lee volleyball team to a three-set win over Pioneer Valley Christian Academy.

 

Achurra put down 15 kills and pulled up 25 digs in the 24-26, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20, 16-14 win.

 

She also rounded out her night by serving four aces.

 

Alexis Masten had 13 digs to go with nine kills, and Claire Davis had a team-high 26 digs with five aces.

 

Setter Kassidy Clark recorded 32 assists.

 

The Wildcats (10-6) learn Friday who they will face in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament.

 

Going into Wednesday’s match, PVCA was ranked first in Class D with the Wildcats ranked second.
