Baystate Knocks Out Lee in Four Sets

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Baystate Charter volleyball team Tuesday beat Lee, 3-1, in the Division 5 State Tournament’s Round of 16.

 

After splitting the first two sets, the Phoenix took control in the third and edged Lee in the fourth to prevail, 25-13, 14-25, 25-16, 25-23.

 

Lexi Masten had a double-double for the Wildcats with 14 kills and 12 digs.

 

Claire Davis had a team-high 16 digs. Hannah Achurra had a strong all-around night with 11 kills, nine digs and four aces.

 

Kassidy Clark passed out 27 assists for Lee.

 

The Wildcats finish the season with a record of 12-8.
