Masten Leads Lee to Class D Title Game

LEE, Mass. – Alexis Masten recorded 10 kills Thursday to lead the Lee volleyball team to a sweep of Pioneer Valley Christian in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D tournament.

 

Masten also served five aces in the 25-22, 25-11, 25-22 win.

 

Karalynn Hopkins filled the stat sheet with seven kills, seven digs and a pair of aces, and Mya Andre delivered six kills.

 

Julian Schuerer passed out 21 assists to direct the offense and helped anchor the defense with six digs.

 

Top-seeded Lee (13-6) moves on to Saturday morning’s regional final against Turners Falls at West Springfield High School.
