WARE, Mass. – Kelly Krom served nine aces Thursday to lead the Mount Everett volleyball team to a come-from-behind, five-set win at Ware in the Eagles’ regular season finale.

Krom also delivered five kills in the 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-3 win.

Mount Everett (4-14) went into Thursday’s match the 30th ranked team in Division 5 statewide. A win over No. 22 Ware will go a long way toward helping the Eagles secure a spot in next week’s 32-team state tournament.
