Wahconah Cruises to Sweet 16

DALTON, Mass. – Alex Rougeau served 19 points Saturday as the Wahconah volleyball team swept South Hadley in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.

Rougeau served three aces in the 25-11, 25-13, 25-20 win.

Taea Cunagin recorded nine kills, and Melaina Haczela distributed 15 assists.

Ninth-seeded Wahconah (15-7) will face No. 8 Ursuline Academy on Tuesday in the Round of 16.
