Savage Reaches Milestone, Mounties Reach Western Mass Final
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Mount Greylock senior Celina Savage reached 250 kills for the season in a sweep of Franklin Tech Thursday as the Mounties reached the Western Massachusetts Class C title game.
Savage had 17 kills in the match to lead her squad to a 25-15, 25-14, 25-12 win.
Kylie Sweren passed out 25 assists while delivering five kills and serving nine aces.
Talia Kapiloff had five kills in the victory.
Mount Greylock (19-0), which won the Class D Championship last fall, will play for a Class C crown on Saturday at noon when it takes on county rival Lenox at West Springfield High School.
