Lenox Volleyball Reaches State's Final Four
LENOX, Mass. – Evelyn Julieano and Leanne Maschino each put down seven kills, and the Lenox volleyball team came out strong in advancing past Whitinsville Christian in three sets in the Division 5 State Tournament quarter-finals on Friday.
Julieano also had nine digs and served a team-high six aces in the 25-10, 25-10, 25-23 win.
The fourth-seeded Millionaires (21-1) advance to play the winner of No. 1 Hopedale and No. 1 Renaissance, who play their quarter-final on Saturday afternoon.
Emily Barenski anchored the defense with 16 digs.
Sara Isby had 12 digs to go with six kills and three aces.
Grace Julieano distributed 25 assists and pulled up seven digs.
Lenox’s next game will be played on a date and at a neutral site to be named after the rest of the quarter-final matches are completed.
