McCann Tech Girls Split on Road

BUCKLAND, Mass. -- The McCann Tech girls cross country team Tuesday earned a dual meet win over Greenfield in a three-team meet at Mohawk Trail.

 

Camryn Moran led the Hornets with a time of 22 minutes, 8 seconds as McCann Tech finished with 15 points to Greenfield’s 50.

 

Mohawk Trail’s girls beat McCann Tech, 18-43, behind a first-place finish from Ellie Pinkham (19:59).

 

In the boys race, Mohawk Trail’s Dennis Simmons placed first in 14:51 as Mohawk took a pair of wins, beating McCann Tech, 18-41, and edging Greenfied, 27-30.

 

McCann Tech was led by Brandon Miller with a time of 17:47.

 

McCann Tech goes to Hadley for a PVIAC race on Sept. 21.
