Lenox Boys, Girls Tennis Top Pittsfield
LENOX, Mass. – Katie Shove and Caity Giardina each won singles matches in straight sets to lead the Lenox girls tennis team to a 5-0 win over Pittsfield on Wednesday.
The first doubles tandem of Reeva Patel and Bella Giardina won without dropping a game in the other contested girls match.
The teams played just one boys match, with Pittsfield’s Ronan MacDonald coming out on top at first singles. But the Lenox boys took the team match, 4-1, with four forfeit wins.
Lenox hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday.
