Abderhalden, Wildcats Top Hoosac Valley

LEE, Mass. – Joey Abderhalden carded a 3-over-par 38 on Monday to tie for medalist honors and lead the Lee High golf team to a 170-187 win over Hoosac Valley in the season opener for both teams.

 

Abderhalden birdied the par-3 second hole and the par-5 sixth hole on his way to sharing medalist honors with the Hurricanes’ Zach Mongeon.

 

David Carlino and Matty Abderhalden backed up Joey with rounds of 42 apiece.

 

Lee (1-0) hosts Monument Mountain at Greenock Country Club on Wednesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (0-1) plays Taconic on Sept. 2 at Berkshire Hills.
