Rose Keys McCann Tech Golfers' Win at Westfield Tech

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Chris Rose medaled with a 42 to earn a 4-0 win and lead the McCann Tech golf team to a 13.5-10.5 win over Westfield Tech on Tuesday.

 

“Our team was able to sustain itself in one of our closest matches this season,” McCann Tech coach Chris Carr said. “ I'm proud to see not only a good sense of sportsmanship among our players and Westfield Tech, but also a strong performance by our players at the mid-point of the season.”

 

The Hornets won four head-to-head matches, getting a 3-1 win from No. 1 Ryan Baran, a 3.5-.5 win from Dalton Tatro and a 2.5-1.5 win from Nash Morin.

 

The Hornets (6-1) are off until they host Springfield Central on Tuesday.
