McCann Tech Harriers Even Dual Meet Records

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The McCann Tech boys and girls cross country teams each picked up a pair of wins on Wednesday in a four-team meet.
 
The Hornets’ boys topped Hampden Charter and Pioneer while falling to Pope Francis behind a seventh-place performance by Jadon Hartley, who covered the course in 20 minutes, 47 seconds.
 
Braedon Delmolino (21:15) and Christopher Sunn (22:80) placed ninth and 10th, respectively, for the Hornets, who beat Hampden Charter, 25-34, and Pioneer, 21-28.
 
For McCann’s girls, Elliette Tucker placed eighth in 29:31, and Lily Marceau was 11th in 29:47.
 
The Hornets’ girls topped Hampden Charter, 15-50, and fell to Pope Francis, 15-50. Pioneer’s girls did not post a team score.
 
Both the McCann Tech girls and boys teams Wednesday evened their dual meet records at 3-3 this fall.
