McCann Tech Harriers Compete at State Vocational Championships

WRENTHAM, Mass. -- Lily Marceau finished 20th Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech girls cross country team to a fifth-place showing in the small school division at the State Vocational Championships at the Wrentham Developmental Center.
 
Marceau covered the course in 26 minutes, 28 seconds.
 
The race was won by Essex Tech's Maddie McDonald in 22:02.
 
McCann Tech's boys finished seventh out of 13 teams in the commonwealth behind an 18th-place finish by Jadon Hartley.
 
Hartley finished in 19:57.
 
The boys race was won by Norfolk County's John Collins in 17:08. Essex Tech was the boys D2 champion with 30 points; the Hornets finished with 176 points with the top five runners scoring.
 
Joining Hartley in the scoring column for McCann Tech were Breadon Delmolino, Christopher Sunn, Daniel McGrory and Adam Krutiak.
 
Norfolk Aggie won the team title on the girls side with 38 points. McCann Tech finished with 130 points.
 
Rounding out the scoring for the Hornets were Eliotte Tucker, Emily Scalise Madison Goddell and Arianna Vincent.
