McCann Tech Harriers Fall in Home Opener

ADAMS, Mass. – The Mohawk Trail Regional boys and girls cross country teams each picked up a pair of wins at Greylock Glen on Wednesday.

 

Mohawk swept McCann Tech and Gateway in a three-team race.

 

Mohawk’s Anya Read was the fastest girl on the 3.2-mile course with a time of 22 minutes, 6 seconds.

 

Gateway’s Jacob Maynard led the boys, hitting the finish line in 20:00.

 

McCann Tech was led by Tucker Wirtes, who finished fourth in the boys race in 21:22. Kamilia Kondel led the Hornets’ girls, placing seventh in 25:13.

 

McCann Tech is home again on Monday afternoon.
