McCann Tech Edges Taconic

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Connor Snow and Ryder Lefebvre Friday led the McCann Tech bowling team to a 2-1 win over Taconic as the Hornets pulled into a tie for second place with the Thunder the Berkshire County High School Bowling League.
 
Snow rolled a 207 game and 388 two-game series that each were second among the league’s bowlers on Friday. Lefebvre was right behind him with a 206 game and 376 series.
 
Taconic’s Luzis Brown led the league on Friday, posting games of 238 and 166.
 
Brown’s teammate, Abby Bliss, rolled a 167 game and a 323 series that was second among the league’s girls.
 
The league’s top girl on Friday was Lee’s Devyn Fillio, who posted a 196 game and 396 series to lead the Wildcats to a 3-0 win over Pittsfield.
 
Monument Mountain also picked up a 3-0 win, beating Mount Everett behind Noah Walker’s 365 series. Kyle Sermini rolled a 200 game for the Eagles.
 
The league returns to action on Friday at Pittsfield’s K&M Bowling, where this year’s seniors and the inaugural county Hall of Fame class will be recognized.
