McCann Tech Harriers Close Home Portion of Schedule

ADAMS, Mass. – Aliza Rozon finished first among the girls Tuesday as the McCann Tech cross country team wrapped up its home schedule with a meet against Turners Falls.

 

Neither the Thunder nor the Hornets had enough runners to post a team score in the dual competition.

 

Individually, Rozon finished in 26 minutes, 31 seconds on the 3.2-mile course at the Greylock Glen, beating out her teammate, Julia Vareschi, who was second in 27:43.

 

Turners Falls’ Lucian Carlo won the boys race in 24:52.

 

Jackson Delmolino was the runner up in 26:45. Jay Delmolino and Preston Hnatonko were second and third, respectively, for the Hornets.

 

Before the race, McCann Tech celebrated seniors Hnatonko and Vareschi.
