Mount Everett Volleyball Team Comes Back for Four-Set Win

BENNINGTON, Vt. -- Faith Angell recorded eight kills, and the Mount Everett volleyball team Friday rallied after a first set loss to earn a four-set win at Mount Anthony on Friday.
 
Angell, a senior, also had three digs and an ace for the Eagles, who used just six players in the match to win, 18-25, 25-14, 25-18, 26-24.
 
Angell's classmates Ashley Atwood and Laynie Mullen recorded six aces and five aces, respectively. Atwood had 11 digs, and Mullen recorded seven assists.
 
Junior Lizzy Samacki had a team-high 12 digs to go with seven kills, three blocks and six aces.
 
Nadia Makuc recorded five digs, and fellow sophomore Alexis Atwood had six aces and six assists.
 
Mount Everett hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
