Mount Greylock Girls, Boys Complete Home-and-Home Sweep of Eagles
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Two Mount Greylock girls picked up their first varsity wins as the Mounties swept Mount Everett in girls and boys tennis on Tuesday afternoon.
Tiffany Gonzales earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles, and Isabelle Rosenthal teamed up with Molly Karampatsos for a 6-2, 6-0 win at second doubles that gave Rosenthal her first win.
The Mount Greylock boys (8-0), who started the day as the No. 9-ranked team in the commonwealth in Division 4, dropped just four games in their five wins.
The Mounties’ boys and girls are at Springfield Central on Wednesday.
