NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jake Corcoran scored two goals and set up a third in the second period Friday to lift the Mount Everett hockey team to a 5-3 win over Wahconah at Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink.

Matt DiSilva and Charlie Grace each had a goal and an assist in the first period as the Eagles took a 2-1 lead. In the first minute of the third, Corcoran set up Mason Lynehan to give Mount Everett a 3-1 lead.

But Wahconah's Mitch Andrews scored his second less than a minute later to get his team within one.

Corcoran quickly re-established the two-goal lead and added some insurance in the final minute of the stanza.

Isaac Anello lit the lamp for Wahconah in the third.

Cole Duval made 41 saves to earn the win for Mount Everett.
