Darrow, Mount Greylock Girls Sweep Taconic

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Takiera Darrow recorded eight kills to lead a balanced Mount Greylock attack Tuesday as the Mounties downed Taconic in three sets.
 
Darrow also had six aces, 13 digs and two assists in a 28-26, 25-11, 25-14 win.
 
“Everyone one on the Greylock roster contributed to the win with 29 kills distributed among 10 teammates,” Mounties coach Greg Geyer said.
 
Charlotte Coody had seven of those kills to go with a team-high 17 assists and an ace.
 
Emma Hayward had 14 digs and four aces, and Tessa Levesque recorded two aces, two kills and a block.
 
Taconic is back in Williamstown on Wednesday to play the Mounties.
