Taconic Golfers Edge Hoosac Valley
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jackson Molleur carded a 44 to tie for medalist honors and lead the Taconic golf team to a 198-205 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday at Berkshire Hills Country Club.
Molleur recorded the day’s only birdie, accomplishing the feat on the par-3 fifth hole, and tied the Hurricanes’ Ian Cappiello for medalist honors on the day.
Taconic scored rounds from Mat Sottile (45), Nate Murphy (46) and Cam LaFerriere and Camdyn McKillop, who each carded a 63.
Hoosac Valley got a 48 from Carson Mills and scored rounds of 55 from Kale Kondel and 58 from Zachary Mungeon.
The Hurricanes host Mount Greylock on Tuesday. Taconic hosts Wahconah on Friday.
