Taconic, Pittsfield Bowlers Neck and Neck in League Standings

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Pittsfield's Matt Dupuis rolled the top game and top series in the Berkshire County High School Bowling League and led the Generals to a win over Wahconah at Cove Lanes.
 
Dupuis posted a 224 game and a 379 series for PHS, which earned a 2.5-.5 win over Wahconah.
 
The half point that Wahconah denied Pittsfield allowed Taconic to maintain a slim lead over the Generals in points for the season after Taconic took a 3-0 win from Monument Mountain in Friday's other match.
 
Dupuis was backed up by Justin Doyle, who rolled a 357 series, the second-best two-game series in the league on Friday.
 
Wahconah got a 354 series from Cody Doyle in the loss.
 
Taconic was led by Mya Duhamel, who rolled a 154 game, the best score recorded by a girl on Friday.
 
Mount Everett's Tyler Smith rolled the day's second-highest game, a 207, in his team's 3-0 loss.
 
Pittsfield and Taconic are scheduled to bowl against one another on Friday at Cove Lanes.
