Daniels Dominant as Taconic Wins 10th

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Nyashia Daniels had nine kills Tuesday to lead the Taconic volleyball team to a three-set win over Mount Everett.
 
“Two of those kills were put straight down with authority left-handed,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said after the 25-12, 25-14, 25-20 win.
 
The victory gave Taconic a record of 10-3 this fall with at least five matches left until the state tournament.
 
“Brenna McNeice had a huge serving night with 15 aces to go with 12 digs and 13 assists, giving her another triple double,” Fyfe said.
 
Ruby Robertson anchored the Thunder’s defense with 11 digs and eight serve receives.
 
Jayden Galiher and Natalia Dos Santos each had a strong all around night.
 
Galiher finished with five kills, four digs, two aces, a block and an assist. Dos Santos had six digs, six serve receives, five aces, two kills and an assist.
 
Taconic hosts Holyoke on Thursday.
